Wednesday

Today was a pretty uneventful day at the hospital. Amy's staying there tonight and called to let me know that our mom hasn't had any side effects since starting chemo 24 hours ago. Only 6 days left to go! Mary asks for prayer that there will be no set backs in these next few weeks...that she will stay free of infection, and that God will continue giving her strength.

Thanks everyone!

  1. Yay for no side effects! We will be praying specifically for no setbacks and lots and lots of strength for the next 6 days, especially. Keep on keeping on, Aunt Mary! Love ya.

  5. Hey Beautiful, Keep visualizing the chemo as God's army flowing thru your body and destroying the enemy one by one. "Mighty in battle" indeed!

  6. I only wish I lived closer to you and I would come visit. You have no idea how the daily comments from your girls have helped me feel a bit more connected. Even though I don't write every day to you, I want to you know I am thinking about you. And thank you Girls.

  7. That is good news - no side effects so far! One of my favorite scriptures is Psalms 91 - "Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.... Under His wings you shall take refuge". Good to pray daily when you're in battle with a seen or unseen enemy... Continuing to pray for you and for the "no side effects" to continue. I too wish that I lived closer so that I could come and visit you. Stay strong and positive and you will overcome. I will keep you in my prayers.

  9. Mary:

I just wanted you to know that we are thinking and praying for your quick recovery. You have such strong faith and loving family and friends! That is half the battle. You are much to vibrant to let this get you down. We will keep praying and thinking of you daily and my mom is keeping me updated on your condition. The prayer circle keeps getting bigger and cannot be broken if you just believe. You stay strong and get back on your feet real soon. With everyone's thoughts and prayers you WILL do just that. Take care!! Shannon May & Family
