REMISSION!!!!!

We have a wonderful amazing announcement...my mom is in complete REMISSION!! The doctors just came in and told us (with big smiles on their faces) that her blood is clean...so clean that they don't even need to run any other tests on the bone marrow sample! Praise the Lord!

Thank you all so much for your prayers and love you've shared throughout the past couple months. You have no idea how much you've encouraged mom along the way! You are the best family and friends anyone could ever have (even the nurses and doctors noticed)!

Our mom is still experiencing some pain and nausea. She is celebrating inside but she's not able to express it too much because she's uncomfortable. Please continue to pray for her throughout the upcoming weeks as she recovers and prepares for the stem cell transplant.

We praise God above all and owe all the glory and honor to Him. He's in complete control of each of our lives and we give him all our praise!!

  20. "Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!" - that's what I shouted into the phone when Stef called me, as I was boarding the plane! I think everyone in the entire airport could hear me! The prayer warriors stormed the heavens and God answered! I am sooo happy for you, Mary, and for Greg and the kids and grandkids! I'm sorry that you're not feeling well from the side effects, but we'll pray that the worst is over. You are an inspiration to all of us, Mary. Thanks to your kids for the daily postings. I check the blog every morning. Take care of you and we'll all continue to pray. I love ya, Patsy

  21. HALLELUJAH!! Isn't it just amazing what the power of prayer will do. I am so happy for you!! I told you from the start that you were the strongest woman I know! I will continue to pray for you while in remission - Mary, it will be no time at all when you will be on the excercise floor again, cooking and cleaning (?!) and most of all enjoying and playing with your "entertaining" grandchildren. Your kids have been amazing - taking the time to update all us while they are going thru their own kind of pain.

St. Louis may be a long way from you, but my prayers are close to you.

Love ya - be good and trust in the Doctors and your Lord.

"If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it.

Great News!!!! We're so happy to hear the great news. Mary, you and your family were there for me in my time of need when my father passed, I will never forget that. You were kind enough to let a stranger into your house and look over me when my mom was out of town. I truely beleive that the Lord takes care of the people who look out for others in their time of need. My family and I wish you nothing but the best on a speedy recovery, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Thanks be to God
