Attention All Prayer Warriors!

"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." 1 John 4:4

Mary experienced a pretty rough night last night. She is in the midst of the hardest days of round 2 of chemo..where her body is at it's weakest. As her body is being pumped full of meds, blood, and platelets - we ask for prayer! The side effects have kicked in - this time nausea (with severe abdominal pain) throughout the night and dehydration (she passed out in my arms on her way back from the bathroom). She is doing much better this morning - and we praise God for that. We do not want another night like this!

Let's storm Heaven on this one!!

  2. Oh, Mary, I'm so sad to hear you aren't feeling well!! But I know God is bigger than nausea! Last night at Small Group (everyone says hi) we read the scripture that says "His name is higher than any other name" and Steve just stopped in the middle of the discussion and said, "His name is higher than Leukemia" and we all agreed in prayer for your sake. Mary, don't grow weary; God is in control, and HE WILL BRING YOU THROUGH!!
We love and miss you so much. Tell someone there to hug you from me.

  9. Thanks for the prayers everyone. Just talked to Julie this morning and she said Mom had a good night. As my dad and I were leaving last night, we layed our hands on her and prayed that her night went 100 times better than the night before. And God answered our prayers!
Our visit last night was amazing. She was perky, and looked great. We skyped Brian and my Girls, and Adam, Bre and their kiddos. So glad that I got to spend time with you guys, Mom, Dad, and Julie.
Praying for another good day and night,
