Good days

Not too much to report tonight but we like that. Mom's doing well these past couple days, walking, feeling pretty good, and still having visitors everyday. She's been very tired because of all the medicine they're giving her but no bad side-effects from this round of chemo yet.

They're still trying to regulate her blood pressure better because it's very high at times but all the tests they've done have come back normal. Today they decided to stop giving her 1 of the steroids and they'll see if that helps at all.

Thank you all for your prayers! We believe God can heal and restore!

  3. Praying for another day of feeling good, good friends and getting your exercise in! It is impossible to not think about you all day! God is using you in so many ways to touch other people as He heals you. Your family displays an incredible strength, peace and faith to those of us who know God.....and others who are listening, watching and growing as we cheer you on. Stay strong on this day 4 - you are more than half way there! Love, Cindy

  5. Hey Beautiful,

I just cleared it with Amy - Patti & I will be there after lunch time tomorrow (Friday)!

I've been reflecting all week on our scripture from church last Sunday; John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me."

Remain in Him! Even though its not fun to be "pruned," God actually allows this to happen in our lives so we can bear even more fruit during the next growing season. It has become obvious to me that God is pruning all of us through what has befallen you!

Let's keep on remaining in His Vine - think of all the incredible fruit that will be harvested as a result!

    See you tomorrow love,
    Jack

  6. So, Mary, are you choosing all of these very cool blog templates? They are so fun and colorful!

Keep fighting! We are praying you through this. We are praying that these cells will be destroyed and the cancer defeated, in Jesus' name! And, don't ever forget, God will NEVER let go of you!!!

    Love you.

  8. Mary, our family keeps you in prayer regularly. Your family is the best - their love for you is so evident through the things they say and their faith is so strong - one of the things you and Greg have passed on to them, I'm sure. I'm praying that you'll have strength for one moment at a time - that God will sustain you with just what you need for each step.
