Hi there, I just arrived here to be with my mom a couple hours ago and she's doing just fine. Her throat is still sore and she's still battling some fevers here and there, but nothing she can't handle! She's really doing great through all this.
Also, I am 9 weeks pregnant and had my first ultrasound today, so I was able to bring pictures to share with my mom...that was fun!
We thank God for all He has done in my mom and all that He is going to do. As always, please continue to pray for her health to improve and for her counts to start going up.
Mary - I'm always thinking of you and so sorry I haven't posted a comment recently. I just saw Pat Lavery (he works here at BP with me) and he asked about you. so I sent him the link for this website! One more of God's warriors on the blog now! It certainly appears to all of us that your family has surrounded you with love, faith, and all of their support. The blogs from Bre, Adam, Suzanne, Amy, on and on, are so beautiful and help those of us who don't talk to you every day. I'm praying for you and I love you.

Still praying every day, all the time! I so wish I could get up there. My life is crazy right now, I think my head is going to spin off. But, I am thankful for everything, more so now because of you!. I hope that you will be well enough to do some of your favorite things again soon. I am hoping for the days where you can sit and read a book again and love every word of it. And enjoy shopping and running around doing your stuff!
ReplyDeleteThe boys are all playing basketball now. Although Caleb has been home with the flu this week, his season ended without him this week but, he will start travel ball soon. Riley is playing and of course that is a hoot! He has discovered origami now and is leaving paper planes, tanks and everything you can imagine that could be made out of paper around the house.
As my knee is starting to allow me to do more now, I am "nesting" Steve says. I am just happy to finally be able to dive into the messes that have been accumulating for the past 4 mos. All the kids have new beds, well new to them. We gave Riley the boys bunk beds, gave Josh, Pae's bed and gave Caleb, Riley's. And Pae got a new-used Daybed Trundle that is really cute and nice. She loves it and it gives her more room in her room. Steve is on his 3 medicine, 4th change. We are trying to figure it all out for him. And I am done at the jewelry store on the sales floor at the end of the Cal. year. I am ready to go. Too much going on and not enough time to do it in. I miss being with the kids. Even though I am only gone one day when they are home, it gives me less time to just hang with them when I'm home. Because when I do come home then I am in the salon or now at the computer for Marty. So, it will lighten my load a little.
It is so exciting about Suzanne!! Gives us all something to look forward too. I hope I get a little girl this coming year too. No word on any children at this point. We are just waiting on God there too.
Well, even though my life is crazy, I think of you all the time, and send my prayers to the heavens. I love you and can't wait to see you!
Love, Kim
What a joy to boast of the Lord's goodness! Mary, you are a wonderful example of God's faithfulness. How it has encouraged all of us who follow your journey on the blog.
